Realy

A relay functions as a small-scale electric switch triggered by a minor electrical current, capable of controlling a larger current. Its core component is an electromagnet, typically a coil of wire, which becomes magnetized temporarily when electrified. This magnetic force pulls a contact to engage another circuit. Once power ceases, a spring returns the contact to its original position. By reversing the current, another contact can be activated, enabling the connection of a different circuit. Relays are crucial in situations where sensors produce insufficient current to operate larger devices, serving as either switches or amplifiers.
