How to Create a Genie AI AR Experience

Choose Genie AI when the team wants to generate a 3D asset inside Studio instead of starting from an existing model file or a library import. This is especially useful in early concept stages, educational testing, fast campaign ideation, or proof-of-concept work where speed matters more than a finished asset pipeline on day one.

It is less suitable when the production team already has a precise model specification or when the project depends on very controlled product fidelity.

Follow these steps in order. If you are new to Studio, finish one screen before you move to the next one.

Start by clicking `Create experience`. Then choose the main AR type that matches your project. On the content-type screen, `Genie AI` lets you generate the 3D object instead of uploading a finished model.

You cannot open the experience on a real phone until it is published. Before that, use the Studio preview to check the setup and fix mistakes.

The most important preparation point is creative direction. AI generation works best when the team knows what kind of object, style, or visual role the asset should serve inside the AR experience. Vague prompts tend to produce vague assets, and vague assets are hard to defend in production review.

Teams should also be realistic about QA. Genie AI can speed up ideation dramatically, but the generated result still needs scale, fit, and relevance checks before it becomes part of a live campaign or educational deployment.

Genie AI is strongest in concepting, prototype cycles, campaign ideation, education, and fast-turn storytelling work where the team wants to test a 3D idea without waiting on a full manual model pipeline. It can also be useful for exploring several creative directions before choosing which one deserves final production treatment.

For high-fidelity product visualization or tightly controlled branded assets, teams may still want a conventional 3D production process after the initial concept stage.
